Evening Daily News Update: July 28, 2026

Good evening doomers, and welcome to your Evening Daily News Update for Tuesday, July 28th, 2026. Kick up your feet, enjoy some baseball or tonight’s WWE NXT (preview below), and think of how much a draw that Matt and Jeff Hardy are for TNA, with the Righteous Deletion episode of Impact drawing the best number since they began running shows on AMC (307k avg for the night). Don’t forget to check out Kat’s Raw Review, featuring an (in my opinion) unexpected title change.

WWE NXT Preview:
Tonight, Myles Borne defends the North American Title against Kam Hendrix, Shiloh Hill battles Tristan Angels, Lizzy Rain faces off with Izzi Dame, OTM duke it out with BirthRight, and we’ll get an appearance from Mike Santana Cruz Montana!

YouTube Spotlight: Director’s Cut of John Cena vs Cody Rhodes (SummerSlam 2025)!
Witness the epic match between Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Cody Rhodes in this Director’s Cut of their Street Fight from SummerSlam 2025. (The other options from today weren’t too great either… like, Perfect vs Shawn from ’93? REALLY)

Enjoy yourselves and come out dooming! – GH
