Bad Cena

By Scott Keith on 20 February 2025

Greetings.
Question for you and the BoD.

Am I the only one thinking that the build to Chamber + WM kind of facilitates a Cena heel turn — or 1+ other major heel turns? The Case:
  • The deal with “Last Time Is Now”. First, it's an awful merch slogan. Second, the slogan provides kayfabe incentive for Cena to be cutthroat.
  • Cena gets a bye for EC. Raw has singles matches for entries, while SD needs three-way matches. Built-in feelings of inequity, resentment.
  • Cena himself is like, “I want to main event WrestleMania one last time. So, I am reserving my VIP spot for the EC. I have a film shoot, guys! k thx!
  • When the faces in the EC mention Cena, they kinda shade him, pretending not to care that he gets automatic entry because *He's John Cena* and blah.
This seems to be either building to a Cena heel turn, or turns from Punk, Seth, and/or other prominent faces.

You know Cena is winding down his career because we haven’t had a Cena heel turn email in a few months.
