Can’t always get what you want

Is there something that stands out to you that you really wanted to happen in wrestling, either based on rumors or just your own hopes and dreams, and it did actually happen? Be it a title change, big return, match outcome, push, etc.
On the other side, is there something you really wanted to happen, and then it just didn't?
I'll start with two related to Lesnar. I really wanted him to finish WM19 with a shooting star press, knowing he had done it in OVW. Then he did. And yeah, be careful what you wish for. On the flip side, I had fantasy booked myself into believing Brock might return at the end of WM21 to confront Batista. Obviously, even had it been in the cards, HHH wasn't giving up those main event rematches for anyone.
For the first one, Chris Benoit getting the push to the World title and winning both the Rumble and then the WM main event. Never thought it would ever happen back when he first jumped and he was swimming with the big fishes.
As for the second one, Lex Luger beating Ric Flair for the World title. He had FOUR CHANCES in PPV main events from 88-90 and blew them all.
