Injury rates

It certainly feels like more wrestlers on big stages are getting injured more often.
Is this just a matter of perception, times changing and performers not being stupid and toughing it out, results from the higher risk style we see, something else?

Perception. BACK IN MY DAY, when we wore an onion on our belt as was the style at the time, it was easier to disguise things because of long TV taping cycles and guys moving around territories. Now guys are in the same place for 10 years at a time and if they disappear for 3 months to heal up an ACL injury there’s nowhere to hide it.
