It was kind of inevitable after AEW trounced NXT so thoroughly in the ratings back in 2019, I imagine. You don't bounce back from something like that.
Maybe if they had started with a proper wedding instead of the Vegas drive thru, they could have made it work. Hopefully Hunter lands on his feet with his millions of dollars.
