Where to begin with AEW

Hi Scott

I was wondering if I could tap into the hive mind of the blog for recommendations of the best match with which to introduce someone to AEW.

I’m taking my 15 year old son with me to All In and to say he’s something of a lapsed fan would be an understatement.

In fact he’s not watched any wrestling since NXT Takeover:London meaning that the only people on the All In card he’s familiar with are Samoa Joe and FTR (though they weren’t really even The Revival yet back then)

So he has no idea who MJF or Adam Cole is, has never heard of The Elite, and CM Punk was on sabbatical last time he watched wrestling.

So with a pretty blank canvas, which matches do you think might make a good gateway to AEW ahead of All In?

I hate playing that game. Honestly just watch Dynamite with him and if it hooks him, great. In general I'd say find stuff with Orange Cassidy or something like a Young Bucks party match to start with, or that one match where Jon Moxley bleeds.
