They did what!?!?

Wrestling has a long history of weird or dumb booking decisions. WWE ignoring Daniel Bryan's popularity, Crow Sting jobbing to Hogan, David Arquette winning WCW title. We could go on for days with unlimited choices to talk about. I am curious what do you think are some of the worst most recent head scratchers. Below would be my list of some recent honorable mentions:
-Austin Theory cashing in for a US title shot. In theory I guess it makes sense, but just seemed like a dumb and rushed decision because HHH wanted to get it out of the way so he could move on from it. Don't think AT has quite recovered either.
-Calling up Karrion Kross as NXT champion, only to completely neuter his character and have him lose his first MR in 2 mins to Jeff Hardy, who wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire at the time. KK has never been the same since.
-Tony horrifically botching the Wardlow push. He seemed destined to be a main eventer and the crowd was on fire for him. I get the weird stuff with MJF was out of Tony's control, but everything after that would have gotten most bookers fired. Same can be said for cutting the Acclaimed off at the knees when they were the top act in AEW, especially moving merchandise and crowd response. The excuse was they didn't want them to job to FTR, but losing to the Gunns was better? They've been a non factor ever since.
-Everything to do with Jade Cargrill. The Shaq stuff, the baddies, the weird angle with Bow Wow, going on a 500 day undefeated streak while facing nobodies and being kept away from all the other major women stars. And then she lost and hasn't been heard from pr really mentioned since. No one is gonna confuse Jade as the best worker in the world, but anything would be better than the never ending focus we get on the Outcasts, Britt, and ultimate jobber Taya. How many times do we have see Shida vs Nyla? But she has a great character and look, which is more than most of the women's locker room in AEW can say. Aews women division may be the worst booked division in all of wrestling.
-Never getting the main event payoff match of Young Bucks vs FTR. Sure they can go back to it, but I don't think they will ever get close to the heat they had with it. Surely I can't see it main eventing a PPV, which I totally think it could have before.
-Hook, had a great debut and tons of heat, did nothing since saddled with the FTR title. If anything looks like he has regressed in the ring, or at the very least, shown zero improvement.
You sure did cover a lot of them.
