Rampage taping

Having gone to an AEW Dynamite in the Spring, with 50% of the arenas leaving after the live show, why are they not following the proven WWE formula with Rampage now that Dark is gone?

Run 30 minutes of Rampage matches pre-Dynamite, have promos and recaps promoting future shows the other 15 minutes, get rid of PoP for Rampage and and you have a show without the 3-4 hour burnout and dark matches they have now with a small crowd and open seats for Rampage, which features lower card bouts and no real story progression. Maybe end with a dark main event to send the crowd home happy if the ending of live is a downer?

Yeah I think the taping beforehand idea is definitely the better one. And then do a dark main event. Given that nothing is usually happening on Rampage that's affected by Dynamite, it's no big deal if you're shooting them out of order anyway.
