“A generally fun show with some generally fun matches.”

You used this line to summarize this week's Dynamite, and it's how I'd summarize the first two weeks of Collision as well.
Isn't that a bit of a waste of TV time though with your main event? Even though I'm enjoying the shows for the most part, their main events often feel like no more than house shows. If you miss one, you've just missed a fun match that won't alter any storylines or shake up the AEW scene in any big way.
What did you really miss if you didn't catch CMFTR's first main event? Punk and friends won in a light breezy match, and nothing much happened afterward.
Sting beat Jericho in a fun party match this week, but what are the storyline stakes for that? It was just a match.
I know not every week can have surprises like that amazing last segment with Omega, Takeshita, and Ospreay all running in, but I feel like these shows need a throughline that ends with some semblance of a cliffhanger at least. In other words, they're hovering at a solid 7/10 most weeks when it seems they could take some chances and do more to make these shows feel like must-see TV by the end.
I agree. I think both shows were kind of a waste of solid buzz that the company had been building lately. Dynamite was fine but I was expecting a tease of a solid direction for All In.
