Kayfabe and not believing what you see anymore

This is big reason why it’s hard to get excited about wrestling feuds anymore…we all know there isn’t anything actually personal about the issues. Did you see this article? Who/what do you think caused the end of kayfabe? Personally, I think it was when the WWF admitted to the New Jersey senate and state athletic commission that wrestling wasn’t a real sport. My dude, newspapers were writing articles bitching about fake wrestling all the way back in the late 1800s. The “death of kayfabe” stuff is so overwrought.
