WWF tag titles what if

Been revisiting 87-89 WWF and a couple of interesting what ifs have popped up as relates to the tag belts:

1) I'm guessing strike force was just replacing the Can-Ams winning the belts from the Harts. My what if is what if Zenk stays? They still win the belts but do they drop them to Demolition at Mania? I'd read that Vince was pretty high on the Can-Ams…

2) Tully and Arn win the belts and drop them back to Demolition in November then the Demos turn around and drop them to the newly created Andre-Haku just to win them back at Mania. What if Tully and Arn stay (and Tully doesn't fail a drug test)? Do they just keep the belts on them til Mania?

1. Yeah the plan with the Can Ams was going long term with them, but Demolition was inevitable like Iron Man and I can’t imagine them not winning the belts by Summerslam.
2. I feel like Vince had kind of had enough of Tully being Tully and the drug failure was a convenient excuse. I don’t see them lasting much past where they did.
