Not sure if you saw this interview, Ariel Helwani talking to GSP about the EC and Sami Zayn.

Made me wish they had built up this match more, and had Sami introduce GSP as a sort of ‘special enforcer’ to keep his match with Roman one-on-one. The idea of GSP fighting off Roman’s lackeys, leading to Sami winning the title in a fair fight with Roman, in Montreal, sounds unbelievable to me.
I’m not suggesting GSP wrestle or anything else – just a one night appearance, throw a few punches, maybe shoot a double leg, nothing fancy.
Yes, WM is next month or so, but the whole ‘anything meaningful must happen at WM’ thing has really hurt the WWE’s ability to just go with what feels logical, to end stories at their peak in a proper manner, because they have to force every meaningful story to culminate in March/April. Just my opinion, though.
