William Regal

I think it’s cool that Regal’s legacy is of him being this professor X wrestling legend who

knows all the tricks and who trained all the greats. But I can’t think of too many great matches from him. I feel like younger fans must be asking themselves the same questions. I can think of a few: against Sting at GAB96; Ultimo Dragon at Slamboree 97. The famous Benoit match from Velocity. But is there a treasure trove of Regal matches from the UK or Japan I’m missing? What makes him so great?
