Regals supposed “unique” AEW deal

So the rumors of Regal leaving AEW for WWE, this is what has me stumped. Recent reports say he had an out clause if Triple H ever came back with power. How ridiculous does that sound? You mean to tell me Regal sat with Tony Khan and said “so I'll take this 3 year deal but if my buddy Triple returns to WWE and he gains power, I want a clause that says I can leave and go back”. I absolutely cannot see that being a thing. So if he's actually going back, I think he politely speaks to Tony and requests his release which Tony grants out of respect because it's not like he's gonna go to WWE, be the next Austin and dethrone Reigns.

What recent reports? Some guy on Twitter? Pretty sure that since Regal isn't a dick and is universally respected and wants to go back and train people at the PC, there's no point in forcing him to stay.
