Granny Nitro

Hi Scott, hope you are well.
In case you needed some added incentive to continue with the 1997 Nitro reviews, I'm watching the December 1st episode (which was done in Knoxville, Tennessee), and after a Hogan interview where he was getting all bent out of shape, Hogan got into a big argument with a ringside Granny fan. And they kept the camera on it!
She was probably a stunt granny (though they didn't do much physically), but if she was the real thing (and it was in the South), it was the greatest thing Hulk ever did in WCW. He played it to the hilt, as did she, and all I could think was how much you'd love this. I just hope they didn't edit it off the WWE network version (mine is an old taped version from back in the day). If you ever get back to the show, you'll be all over it. Take care.
I have encountered the Knoxville Granny before in other Nitro shows, and unfortunately I was smartened up to the fact that she is playing a character and it WRECKED me forever. She is indeed a Stunt Granny. I was much happier before I knew that.
