Broomstick

Hi Scott,

For as long as I can remember it has been said that Ric Flair (or some of the other greatest workers of their times) could wrestle a broom and get a good match out of it. So, here's what I want to know your opinion on: which person from any era of wrestling history do you think could legitimately have the best match in front of a crowd with an actual broom? Would it most likely be a guy like 1989 Ric Flair or 1997 Shawn Michaels? Someone with a hardcore style that might just do crazy shit like ECW era Cactus Jack? A straight-up comedy wrestler? Or maybe even someone more limited as a worker but who always got huge crowd reactions simply from the power of their charisma or personality like 1986 Hulk Hogan or 1974/75 Bruno Sammartino? And what do you think is the ceiling for star ratings for such a match? I'm well aware that this is arguably one of the dumbest hypothetical questions you've been asked, but I'm also genuinely interested in your answer to it.

Kenny Omega. That would 100 percent be the kind of challenge and inside joke he would hit out of the park. Plus he’s the CLEANER.
