I mean…when Tony Khan raises a banner at Daily's Place to celebrate that he won Best Booker from Meltzer's magazine…and made sure that you saw it on Dynamite…
And one of the top AEW tag teams has a name literally called the Meltzer Driver…
That's what I always thought it was. For better or worse, the style of pro wrestling has been heavily influenced by his tastes because a lot of wrestlers care about his ratings.
Clearly that's the case, even down to FTR wearing “Seven Star FTR” gear.
