Locked In

To follow up on the email about the current heavyweight title picture in AEW, is Tony's long term planning doing more harm than good? Obviously Punk and other injuries changed things. But while trying to overcome that, his insistence on establishing all these ROH titles, while also creating new titles like the trios titles, with big names is really ravaging the heavyweight title scene. Is it really worth it? And the current top 5 is terrible, Scorpio at #1 after getting destroyed by Wardlow? Will Hobbs in there when has been tagging most of the year, really? You just brought Claudio in, how he is wasting time in ROH when they could be building him up for as a back up against Mox. Same with Joe. Page, KOR and Cole, maybe Omega, look to be heading into trios competition. Bryan just lost to Garcia lol. Pac is wrestling indy shows with his new belt. Keith Lee is doing tags, even though they have tons of other real tag teams they could be using in that spot. The AEW heavyweight title used to be what everything revolved around, now it seems like a secondary focus.
Now best case scenario is Punk is back and TK lucks out not needing to make a strong challenger for Mox. But relying on that seems risky. You can bring MJF back but I think he has to win or it's a waste. And I doubt MJF agrees to come back to job. And do we even want to see Punk vs MJF again so soon if MJF does win? We have seen Mox vs Omega, plus rushing him back into the title picture would seem very forced as well. Yes he could pull up Miro or Black up, but with how out of the loop they have been with the title scene neither feels like a main event player for a top PPV. Shouldn't Tony of held off with all this ROH nonsense and Trios title to not sacrifice the main title division?
So you're saying that the ROH stuff feels like a waste and they need their top stars back? Hot take, bro.
