Those of us who are old enough to have lived through the Monday Night War will always remember Tony Schivone harping on almost a weekly basis that it was the greatest night or the greatest event in the “history of our sport.”

Judging from the period of Labor Day 1995 to the 2001 simulcast, would you say the greatest match/interview/angle/etc. happened on Nitro?

I’d be inclined to think so. I can’t think of anything offhand that comes close to the Raw (no pun intended) emotion of Ric Flair’s return in 1998.
Andre telling Hulk what’s what on Pipers Pit I’m 1987 is up near the top for me.
