I never knew the full story since I don't watch BTE and just thought it was a just a gimmick for an obvious jobber. But now that I do I think I prefer Vince;s juvenile humor to their inside jokes.
The joke was never funny was the biggest issue. That being said, the Wingmen typically crack me up so it worked out for the best in the end.
