New Influence?

I’m trying to think of a new question that might be fun to answer.
It seems Bret Hart is the primary influence for some of the top US wrestlers (Punk, FTR, and all the Promo Joe videos showing what Bret Hart move AEW wrestlers are paying homage to).
Who is another wrestler who’s influence could be as huge, but no one has really dug into yet?
William Regal comes to mind. Arn Anderson has actually been quietly seeing his influences filter through the current generation as well, I think.
