Cody Rhodes showing CM Punk up

Cody quit AEW and jumped to AEW for a number of reasons, one of which was due to AEW bringing in former WWE guys on big contracts and paying them/pushing them over Cody who had been there from the start. Similar to the concerns raised by MJF and others.

In the last week CM Punk, one of those exWWE guys who was paid/pushed well above the guys in AEW from the start, got injured. He injured his foot and despite being champion, rather than job the title, he cut a “losing his smile speech” and left with the title. Meaning AEW now has a confusing semi-tournament to create an “interim champion” to defend the “interim title” on behalf of Punk

A couple days later Cody Rhodes suffered a far more devastating injury and made the decision to still compete in a full Hell In A Cell match with his Pectoral muscle hanging off him.

Do you think Cody showing off his toughness compared to CM Punk and his willingness to do the right thing for the fans/company, was a factor in Cody deciding to gut it out?
Yeah he sure showed us.
