Cody removed himself from AEW World Title contention but not has the chance to honor Dusty by becoming world champ in what could be an interesting story?. Do you think they'll follow through, and make Cody the interim AEW champ?
Never said that he couldn't be INTERIM World champion, if they want to really open the Forbidden Door.
