Question about Luger Questions

Scott,
The frequency of questions about the career of Lex Luger is now a running joke on the blog, and I've noticed many, MANY 'hypothetical' questions about different ways his story could have gone.
Why do you think Luger, rather than many other of his contemporaries, seems to always be the focus of such focus and speculation?
Oh great now we’ve reached Lex-ception today. I think he was just such an obvious superstar with the charisma and look that fascinated a generation of fans the same way that Hogan did a few years before, but he could never be what we wanted out of him.
