Royal Rumble plans changed 20 times on Saturday

Reportedly, the booking plans for the men's Royal Rumble changed “20 times” the day of the show, including during the match.

Obviously, they should have had Shane McMahon enter first & eliminate everyone.

What would the second best plan had been?

I still don't get the point of having Brock win. He was already screwed out of the WWE title by Roman Reigns, so there's your natural feud right there. The winner should have someone who could challenge Lashley at Wrestlemania. The problem is that they literally have no one ready for him. I guess they could reheat Randy Orton for the billionth time or give Edge another shot, but the options outside of the over-40 crew are pretty slim.
