Disrespecting refs

Hey Scott,
Watching more puro recently and I find it hilarious how much blatant cheating and physicality is allowed with the refs, compare that to American promotions where referees get involved and stand up to wrestlers frequently and actually get to get shine a little bit. Obviously there are pros and cons to either extreme but what do you generally prefer in terms of presentation and style?
I tolerate referees but try not to think about them. I don’t approve of their lifestyle choice.
