Pretty amazing that you wrote that about a guy who is having ***** with Bryan and Kenny now. What you wrote there just fits so well with Hangman's story arc, and this is such a perfect overlay of the “meta” storyline on top of kayfabe, that I just have to ask – any chance that Hangman and Jericho purposely put on a slog there, as part of the set up to the years long Hangman storyline? Or has Hangman just improved so much over the last 2 years? (And I'm not considering the possibility that he's just been carried by Bryan and Omega – I think he has done a spectacular job and has held up his end of those matches more than adequately.)

I don't think the match was even as bad as I made it out to be at the time, I was just completely burned out from the Bucks stealing the show and they ended up in a death slot afterwards that they couldn't follow. AEW was still learning to put together shows at that point too, of course.
