On this day in history, wrestling fans, back in 1998, Mankind was awarded the coveted WWF Hardcore Championship belt by Mr McMahon on Raw is War. Mrs Foley’s Baby Boy, who clearly didn’t have both oars in the water, participated in some real knock-down-drag-out affairs, as the addition of this new championship saw all kinds of pandemonium break loose on WWF television broadcasts for many years after.
