What is WWE doing?

SmackDown is going long on Friday, and commercial free, with a big match in Sasha/Becky… just to beat a regular Rampage show with CM Punk vs Matt Sydal.

Why are they doing this? Like of course they are going to crush AEW and they should. But now AEW gets a full week of free publicity that WWE takes them seriously as competition- and that's all AEW needs.

Merely the perception of real competition is a huge win for AEW… and WWE is serving it to them on a platter. I don't get it.

And heaven help WWE (and us) if it's close or AEW wins…
