Worst period in NWA history

This may be something more for the commentators, but what was the worst
period in post-80s NWA history? The post-Shane Douglas period? The TNA
era? The Tharpe ownership? The Dave Lagana debacle?
Probably Tharpe essentially mining the footage for a streaming service that never happened to any notable degree.
