Brock/Roman – potential team?
By Scott Keith on August 24, 2021
Hi Scott,
I've been thinking about Brock's return.
WWE can do several things with him.
Either he puts over Roman clean on a PPV and splits again for months, which doesn't hurt, but it seems redundant for Reigns. Somehow, this doesn't feel right ATM.
A match with Lashley at Survivor Series would be cool and perhaps a unification match for the titles with Reigns at RR, which Roman would win, makes some sense too. But IDK if WWE wants yet another title unification, I doubt it with SD being on FOX and all.
Other than that, what makes sense? Brock doesn't work as a babyface, he's played out as a heel and without Heyman, his character is incomplete. And he has been so dominant and for so long, anything but going for the title or some major grudge match doesn't feel right and we've seen this from Brock for too long. So really, I think what makes the most sense is pair him up with Roman to boost Roman's image and ego even further, showing he “tamed the beast”, Heyman can manage both and it gives Brock a fresh angle to work with. And maybe he can even beat Lashley for the title at Survivor Series and we can have Roman and Brock, the two world champions, both managed by Heyman, before it somehow falls apart somewhere down the line.
What do you think WWE will do with Brock?

Nothing until 2023 according to what Meltzer was saying on the weekend.
