In your AWA review, you were skeptical about Bob Orton Sr inventing the piledriver, and I'm with you on that one. However, is it possible he invented the power bomb (he murders a guy with it at the finish of this match from the 1950s)? Also, Bob Orton Sr was a fucking awesome dickhead heel, especially for the time. I highly recommend checking out his old matches on YouTube.

Hey, I'm not disputing the awesomeness of Bob Orton Sr. He was a badass. But the piledriver was invented many years before him, by Wild Bill Longson. As for the powerbomb, Lou Thesz typically gets credit for originating what eventually became that move, I think.
