Trolling Hogan?

Hi Scott,
Love the page, books, columns, etc. Quick question that I don’t recall being covered before…
I recently found out that Terry Bollea’s middle name is Eugene. Was Dinsmore’s Eugene character named to troll Hogan, similarly to Virgil being named to troll Dusty (or so I believe), VKM and Vincent (FKA Virgil) were trolling Vince McMahon?

Never heard that before but that’d be funny if true.
