Imagine a world where Mr. Perfect’s back is so wrecked in 91 that he’s never able to wrestle again.
Then Warrior flakes ahead of Survivor Series 92. With Perfect not an option, who’s Savage’s emergency replacement partner? Bret? Taker? They’d require rearranging the card.
Piper? He had a history with Flair.
Or does Vince panic and beg Hogan to come back (which he would end up doing months later anyway)?
Pickings are slim there. I think it would be Piper, you’re right.
