In the Mud

Wow 500k viewers for this past Friday's Dynamite! They sure are lucky the ratings got lost in the weekend news dump and PPV. We didn't even get a ratings post from cousin Barry! I would say dead by Canada Day but will they even make it to then? But seriously, that is a terrible rating and I assume making them nervous putting the 2nd show on Fridays? Do you think the NHL pushing them to TBS a couple weeks ago was the best thing to happen this year for them? I mean a couple more weeks of ratings like this and they would of been screwed in the talks with Turner. Forget a pay increase, who knows if the 3rd hour if even gets announced.

I get it, they were on a different night and had competition. But Smackdown barely lost any audience and Dynamite has never lost this many viewers when pushed to different nights in the past. So what happened? It's been a steady decline the last few weeks, even Blood and Guts didn't pop as hard they expected. I can't see them pulling a deal as good as they have now in 2023 if the ratings are the same they were the last month. TNT already moving them after they worked so hard in branding the two together seems like the first sign of danger. PLUS THE FREAKING REF GETS AN ACTION FIGURE, WTF!?!?
