SNME “schedule”

Hello,

This is more a question for the entire blog: what was your strategy for keeping track of when a new SNME was airing? Was it just a matter of checking the TV listings every Saturday during the months they tended to occur (January, March, May, etc.)? I don't
recall the weekly shows hyping them much, probably because, being syndicated, they were as likely as not to end up plugging another station's programming if they did so. I guess the WWF counted on a certain degree of diligence from their audience?

For me personally, I was generally up watching Saturday Night Live anyway because I was stupid kid who didn't know when to go to bed. But usually I'd check the TV listings for the week and set my VCR if I saw SNME coming up.
