Built in Rivalry

Hey Scott-

With the WWE poised to push Big E as a singles star, it would seem they have a built in contender for him should he make it to the title: Forgotten WWE Champ Kofi Kingston. Do you think this is a thread they might pick up on, or is Kofi that much of an afterthought that he'll never sniff the title picture ever again?
I think Vince was done with Kofi the moment Brock pinned him to win the title. That's a cool idea for a program, though. I'm assuming Big E would have to be the heel? Aside from the initial stages of the New Day I don't think Kofi's ever really been a heel.
