Road Warriors vs. Demolition in WCW or the Indies

Hey Scott,
Any idea why they never there was never any attempt to do Road Warriors vs. Demolition outside WWF? I know Demolition was WWF IP but that's why G-d created thesauruses. Or just say
Road Warriors vs. Demulition. Heck, just put both on a poster and everyone will know what's up.
Good question. I don't know if they had much of a relationship outside of WWE, but certainly Darsow was friends with them. Are we sure it DIDN'T happen?
