Hey Scott,
Been reading your stuff since around 2000, first time caller… and was wondering a few things:
1. Who's the biggest star to never have won a major title? Like upper mid card, flirts with the main event and never got gold?
I mean, even hacksaw Jim Duggan got a wcw US and TV title at some point…
Think about it… I'm drawing a blank besides maybe Jake The Snake.
2. Was Wrestlemania VI the only time Hogan received an Intercontinental title shot?
1. If you mean singles title it's Ted Dibiase. But his tag team titles might count as “major” titles, in which case, yeah, Jake the Snake is the stock answer most people would come up with.
