Al Perez

In looking up the 1990 WWF roster to comment on the Ron Garvin topic, I saw that Tim Horner and Al Perez were also on the roster at this time. I know Horner did a few house shows (I even saw him beat Nikolai Volkoff in a match that did nobody any favors), but I don't remember hearing anything about Perez in the WWF. Do you know anything about this run, and what might have derailed it?

I saw him on a TV show once, Prime Time I think it was. He looked fine and he was actually a reasonably hot talent coming off the World Class run, but I think he left because WCW offered him the fake Black Scorpion gig. And boy that sure worked out for him.
