Ron Garvin

What is the deal (cue Seinfeld music) with Ron Garvin in the WWF in 1990? He finally won the blowoff against Greg Valentine at the Rumble, but then a couple of months later he's on a jobber team losing to them on Superstars. I didn't expect Vince was going to push him, but he dropped from grace quickly.

He was never a great fit in the first place, though. I'm not particularly shocked that both sides lost interest in continuing on. What I am shocked about is that WCW never brought him back for even a cup of coffee afterwards, but I guess Garvin had burned a lot of bridges. Hell, even early ECW could have used him and probably got him over.
