More deserving NJPW wrestlers?

Hey Scott,
I've tried to think of a list of New Japan wrestlers more deserving (personal preference, I know) of being a first time NJPW champ than EVIL. What do you think?

Takahashi
Goto
Ibushi
Ishimori
Ishii
KENTA
SANADA
Suzuki
Why go with EVIL? I don't really get it, even with the whole “It was supposed to be Jay White” theory. Is it really about the long term book?
We’ll find out I guess. But yeah, SANADA or especially Minoru Suzuki would have been epic. That being said, if they want to keep the IC title on EVIL, wonderful! Have at it.
