Is Chris Jericho the new Jerry Lawler?

In a couple of years, I can see Jericho basically being a more active Jerry Lawler – mainly a good heel commentator, but a few matches/feuds a year. Will that be his role in years to come?
As long as he doesn't emulate Lawler's creepy fixation on younger women, that's fine with me.
