UFC 251 Buyrate

This weekends UFC event at Fight Island reportedly pulled in huge numbers. 1.3 million buys, the largest since 2018s McGregor/Khabib fight.
There is clearly still a market for PPV (via streaming services now). Is Vince kicking himself for giving away Wrestlemania for free for so many years now? In hindsight, it’s looking like it was a massive mistake.
It sure was. There were those reports that Vince was trying to get Wrestlemania into a similar streaming deal like UFC but couldn’t find any takers. I personally think they were nuts to throw away guaranteed millions of dollars for Wrestlemania every year, even if they wanted to give away their other 14 shows on the Network. But now the toothpaste is out of that tube.
