1984 Underrated Classic?

Hello Mr. Keith,
I was reading your recent WWE MitB rant, and I was wondering… What are your thoughts on Star Trek III: The Search for Spock? Personally I think it's unfairly lumped in with the “odd numbered Treks are bad” stigma.

I definitely don't think Search for Spock warrants the terrible rep that it has, but it definitely has some big flaws. Christopher Lloyd as the lead villain is just not believable for one thing. Robin Curtis taking over as Saavik is a huge downgrade. The story and plot itself isn't really interesting and doesn't take off until they finally get to the Genesis Planet. The whole movie looks kinda cheap compared to Wrath of Khan as well. I certainly don't hate it, though.
