WWE link to the XFL

I’m sure it was at least a year ago that WWE sold the relevant trademarks to the XFL in return for partial ownership. Therefore I’m surprised that the fact that WWE is listed as a creditor in the XFL bankruptcy seems to have come as such a shock to some people.

It comes as a shock that WWE ended up with nearly 24% of the stock in the XFL in exchange for relatively worthless trademarks. They weren't just a creditor, they were one quarter owners in the league, which was supposedly valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. So not only did Vince repeatedly lie to shareholders about WWE having absolutely no ties to the league, but he also apparently sold stock in the league from himself to himself at a ludicrously cheap price.
