Rants

York Foundation

By Scott Keith on April 12, 2020

Alexandria York and her stats-based predictions featured in your recent Wrestle War review and I've always thought that was a great gimmick. I don't recall anything like it being used in recent times though. Given the mainstream use
of Moneyball and statistical scouting in today's sport, do you think a gimmick like that would work nowadays? If anything, pro wrestling stands out from the sports crowd by never mentioning data driven scouting. It seems like a great gimmick for a stable to
use to bring in new faces to a company and immediately give them a rub because the computer says they'll be good. Jericho kinda did it when he handpicked the Inner Circle and his reputation vouched for each of them. Maybe there's an app available for Vanguard
1?

They could totally do this with MVP as manager, actually. 100%.
