Razor/Shawn

Me Keith………..question. After recently rewatching the WM X ladder match I think it still holds up perfectly well as a 5 star match today. It’s almost easy to forget how groundbreaking that match was for 1994. So my question is this. Should that match have elevated Razor more than it did? I know he was a big star and obviously did just fine in the long run but it seems to me like a match that good at WM could have given Scott Hall a run at the very top. Or is this just another classic case of personal problems stopping Scott from reaching his true potential?
Funny how that worked, isn’t it? Razor wins the big match and yet Shawn is the one who ends up the big star out of it. I think Vince saw Razor in one spot in the card and didn’t want to go further with him anyway.
