Final verdict? I thought it was fine but I’m sort of sick of this “season long mystery” plot. They should go back to the TNG formula and then lead up to a season finale. And can we give the Romulans a rest?
I liked it overall and I thought that the finale stuck the landing for the most part. But the big mystery was lame and clearly the best episode was Picard hanging out with Riker and Troi and THAT is what I wanted out of it. If they produce more, hopefully they learn from it and make the show “JL and his wacky crew have wacky adventures and meet former crew members for drinks”. I’d watch the shit out of that.
