AEW vs TNA

If the rumors are true, we'll soon be seeing guys like Matt Hardy and Lance Archer in AEW. They'll join a company with a main event scene featuring Chris Jericho, Cody, and Dean Ambrose, that also just ran a Goldust vs. Jack Swagger match on PPV. Said PPV also had a tag match on the undercard that stole the show and people rated 5 stars.
How is this any different from mid to late 00s TNA? Substitute a few of those names above for Jeff Jarrett, Kurt Angle, Raven, Kevin Nash, Billy Gunn, and DDP. Substitute the AEW tag match for a match with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels.
Pretty much the same thing, no?
